5680 Clearing bios - No video

So I pulled out the BIOS battery to try and fix some issues I've been having and after I plugged it back in I get no video output or anything from the laptop. It turns on and the hdd light blinks a few times as it spins up but that's it.

Capslock/etc doesn't work and neither does hooking up an external monitor. I'm not too sure what else to do...

Come on... someone has to have some idea.

I would double check whatever "issues" you've fixed first. More than once I've touched or forgotten something while in a 'puter. My second thought and the one I'm more apt to believe is that you need a new battery. I have a 5680 from Nov 03 and my system time is all screwed up because I haven't changed my old original battery yet. You *may* even have to reflash the bios after replacing the battery, I'm not sure how persistant the cmos is... All just a guess.
