Windows XP Reinstallation CD

I recently won a Sony Vaio FS500. I did not recieve a Windows XP Reinstallation CD with it. I sent an email to Sony today explaining my situation. I asked if they would send me a CD. I sent them the serial numbers and what not.

The thing I am worried about is that I heard stories about how horrible Sony's support is. Has anyone been in the same situation? If so, what was the outcome?

Do you think they will send me a Windows XP Reinstallation CD?

As I understand it NONE of the sony computers ship with windows/recovery CD's
They do however give you the option to create them when you turn the computer on the first time. I'm sure there is a way to create them after that point in time, unfortunatly I don't know what that is. So some one with a little more expierence might come along and explain further.
