Any news on what this bios changes!?
Would like to know what it is for before i go installing it.
BTW mine runs fine on the 1.08 BIOS wonder why yours is so screwy?

Supposed "memory timing" fixes. I dunno why mine's unstable either on the 1.08's. It FLIES on the 1.05's though.

I saw your post on the alienware offical forum and I added one there too hope fully they will give us an answer in the next day or so!?

It always takes forever to get an answer out of those guys.

Nah, they're pretty quick.

the problem is that they always say the same thing "download the new drivers, etc."

What the hell are these AW techs trying to do? And what is the BIOS update supposed to fix. It seems to me like it does more damage than the previous verison, 1.05.

Drew,

I like how arrogant AW is on the AW support forums regarding your question about the bios. Most of their replies sound so robotic. Are these actually real people? I mean they only answered your first question, not the next post about the further bios questions that you had.
