Best online store to buy custom PC

Thread Starter
Hi there guys. Looking for a good online site where I can build a PC to my own liking. Some sites offer me the HIGHEST specs and when you try to customize you can only go higher and I can't afford a Pentium 3.4Ghz etc...Could you please recommend a site that has:

+Great prices
+Great service
+Fully customizable

If you have any personal experiences, please state here/

iBuypower or Cyberpower both have cut-throat pricing and OK service.
I would assume Hypersonic has great service, but prices are kinda high

just about every boutique is FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE (to a degree)

Depending on how much customizing you want to do yourself... Newegg.com baby hands down.

yup, building it yourself is the way to go if you have the ability...

Do you mean "building a PC with your own hands to your own liking and buying the components yourself", or "building a PC to your own liking by picking out the components and having someone else put it together"?

You can also try local computer stores if you want to do something yourself.

Makes perfect sense I bought an AMD 3500+ and regret it, so am I supposed to run with a Vic20? P4 in my 8790 kicks the 3500+ up one side and down the other. No contest. I'm not a fanboy, just someone that knows what he sees. Actually have had AMD chips in all my desktops. But this latest one just does not impress me. Laptops've all been Pentium. Take that for what it's worth.

i honestly don't feel a big difference between brands.

My laptop is my first and only AMD computer (athlon 64 3200+ 82w) but, well, it doesn't feel much faster than my bro's P-M 1.83. Just as my P3 866 in my desktop and P3 1133 in my thinkpad are also perfectly fine for every day tasks. Granted huge things like convertions, or rar/unrar is faster on my amd, how often do i get those tasks done anyway? Bottom line, its not so much the cpu, they are all more or less the same, if you love the rest of the package, grab it! amd vs intel is just a small thing on the side.

im just about to buy a rig from cyberpower....

x2 4400+
x1900xt
2gb gskill extreme

audigy 4

I compared my system that I built with parts from Newegg a few months ago and what one would cost at CyberPower; CP would cost $200-300 more than my self-built.

monarchcomputers.com looks pretty good. ABS of course but theyre expensive.

Monarch is alittle more expensive than cyberpower but i think theyre more legit if you know what i mean. Im torn though.
