aurora is better because it is adm and amd is way better then intel

While specs wise the aurora will beat the area-51 handsdown, it doesn't seem reliable, based on the reviews around here.

Not sure about the reliable part. Mine has run 24/7 since delivered rock solid. It is better than I hoped it would be. Aside from the audio dj not working yet, not a single problem or complaint. Most I see here that have them are very pleased with the product. You are right, both maxed out, the aurora will win in almost any bench you run on them (thanks to the AMD dual core).

I got the AMD dual core and it rocks. I had it sense dec 28 of 05. I had no problems what so ever. The only flaw is battery life while gaming. But what do you expect when you have a desktop in a laptop!

My aurora works fine... audio dj works fine - thought that may be because I only have one cd-drive. had no problems yet

sry for posting on a dead thread, however the Aurora only supports 2gb max of ram, the Area51 supports up to 4gb

so amd kicking intels a** aside, wouldn't the intel still be better for stuff like photoshop and video editing?
