Oh yes, I understand that the BOXING phase is the portion that the system is being shipped to the the USA. There was other asking about "WHERE" the distro centers were so I thought i would share the info of where mine originated from(UPS). THanks for the clarification though, I am sure some will find that very interesting.

Yeah, incidentially, boxing was the longest phase in my order. Will be here tomorrow (2-14), but my 2GB ram wont get here until (2-15)

I orderred my 2gb ram from newegg and its been sitting in my lappy bag since last week waiting on the new lappy home to arrive... I feel ya... soon my friend soon..

What type/kind of RAM did you order? Was it 667FSB or 533?

Heres the status of my order (which was placed on the 8th with a shipping estimate of the 16th):

it is now being shipped from Malaysia to the USA and then I suspect the final shipping will occur on the 16th. WIth overnight shipping I expect to see my laptop on the 17th. Yeah!

I ordered mine on the same day and mine has said the same thing. I emailed FedEx about my package and I found out that FedEx has had my laptop since the 11th!

I asked them why they haven't sent my laptop when I payed for Overnight delivery and they said that Dell told them not to deliver it until Feb 15 @ 4:30 PM.

Wow, that sucks! FedEx delivered mine early, I'm wondering why Dell put a shipping hold on yours? I'd call custome service and complain. You might get your laptop early and something free for your troubles!

Got Mine Today, delivered around 4pm It's so sweet, It runs everything I throw at it flawlessly. Only the little things that are bothering me 1. When I turn it on the power button the button looks broken only half of it goes down an I have to push a bit hard on it to turn on the laptop (but still works fine)
2. None of the forceware drivers (that I've Found/tried) work with my Go 7800. Everything else works nice the Notebook (0r textbook as I call it cause of it's large 17' widescreen)

No way its comming tommrow cuz it hasnt even shipped yet.... How long did it stay in production for you guys, mine has been in production since the 6th of this month. When do you think my laptop will be shipped it still says delivery date the 14th, would help if they would update it....

I'm pretty sure it's going to be delivered to me tomm. It said that it was received at the Maumee, OH UPS Station which is about 1 1/2 hours from me and it would be delivered to me on the 14th. By the way.....mine was ordered either the 9th or the 10th.
