E1705 Backpack - Page 2

My count for logo's on Dell's backpack is 10 small ones on each zipper and 1 bigger one towards the top and centered. I'm not sure how you'll cover up the big one but if you come up with any good ideas please tell me. Although where I live and go to school I'm really not too worried about theft, I probably just put my foot in my mouth but we'll hope it doesn't happen for any of you either.

i have the backpack already, i would not say "flimsy" is an adjective i would use.

I have used the 15in Targus model for over 2 years and it has held up VERY well, like new even.

I have looked over the TXL617 bag and I am very happy with it. Pleanty of room, adequate padding, no BLING "steal me" tags. THe outside "flap" could be what the reviewer was referencing to since it clips with two plastic quick release clips but even those are sturdy.

I will get a pic up when my lappy comes in. Full of stuff.

I dont know. I have the samsonite, not the dell. Bigmo has your answer right below tho.

Sounds like you cant go wrong with either bag. The more choices the merrier!

We'll i posted in the other topic that the targus sports backpack
(black and silver) didn't fit the 9300/9400, but it seems that i had something that wouldn't let it go all the way. I tried it again tody and it fitted just perfect, so i'll be keeping this one (i bougth it with my dv4000 2 months ago) to use with the 9400. Acording to the measures it shouldn'fit but it does, and this backpack is awesome, looks good and doesn't give that laptop feeling, just a deluxe backpack image, like a geek with a lot of books (yeah right, most of the stuff are cd's and tools for my job - and the ocasional cs:s dvd jeje). and it looks damn coo also with lot of storage space, and cellphone pouch (also it's not easy to find 17 ichers here so i'll keep my 15.4 pack). Anyway if you have a targus sports 15.4", and are getting a 9400 keep it if it's in good shape since it'll do the trick just right.

Bah! I have the Targus sports backpack as well, which I use for my Dell I8600. It is very comfy and has served me well.

Here is the one that I used with my 9300. Lots of padding, I could drop it off a cliff and the notebook would still work. Tons of room for other books and such too.

Actually, now that I don't have a notebook anymore, if you're interested in buying it...PM me. (*shameless plug*)

Yeah, and I got it for like $60 off of ebay. Pretty sweet deal considering they're trying to sell it for $90.

I bet you it would. I'll test it tonight and let you know.

In all seriousness though, I was exagerating a bit. But I wouldn't worry at all if I dropped it off my back or something.
