Ah ok thanks. I switched it back to Classic because I didn't like all the new features/garbage. I see it now in the New mode.

So is it the best driver or not? What about 3dmark06, do those scores drop/increase? Just give me a heads up, thx
post #33 of 68
There is no best driver, just try it out for yourself.

So coolbits doesn't work with this new driver?
I ended up using nVHardPage SE to turn on the overclocking menu in the new Control Panel.
Ok... what's your guess... more FPS or less with this driver over the 83.20?

What BigFoot48 said. The overclock options still exist. You just have to unlock them using Coolbits or nVHardPage SE.

The new nVidia control panel, however, seems really buggy. It keeps crashing when I'm trying to adjust settings.

Can anyone get the "Advanced 3D Image Settings" to work in the new control panel? I keep crashing to desktop every time I try to access it.

My Mark06 results went from 2,222 using 83.20 to 2,301 at default resolution of 1280x800 using 380/760 O/C. So a nice bump.
Damn, I don't seem to be able to set my preferred 3840x1200 resolution anymore...

It says it changed it, but doesn't do jack..
k my results went from 3864 to clean 3900, yay for the driver

Having some issues with this driver

Driver: Xtreme-G MobileForce 83.60 v2.25

I have clean installed twice now and I can't find the nvidia control panel. Is it because these are Dell Drivers that the description of "Xtreme-G Mobileforce Geforce Go 7800 GTX" no longer appears as the description for my 7800 in 3Dmark ?
