I installed 512MB DDR400 into a ZE4805us (uses DDR266) and it does not recognize the 512 I installed. Yes the 512 I installed does work because I tested it in another notebook.
I threw in 128MB DDR266 into the 4805 to make sure the slot worked and it does. I'm thinking the 4805 has issues with DDR400.
Anyone have any ideas why DDR400 doesnt work in the 4805? I thought the m/b is suppose to downclock the RAM...
