If burning to CD, I just use winXP's burning. (If you don't know how to do that ask).

If you wanna burn either to CD or DVD w/ nero, make a new compilation, and choose either DVD or CD, data. This will leave it as a .avi since your post did not suggest you want to convert to mpeg2.

I had an xvid, it was 669MB, when I tried to burn it with nero, it siad it was 850mb...and i tried every option and when I put it in any of my 3 different dvd players, it dosnt read the disc. If possible, could somebody give me a step by step on what I should do to burn .avi file(xvid) Thank you.

I use WinAvi 7.1 for everything xvid -> dvd ,works a charm

As for Nero I believe 7 is alot better than 6 as I too had nothing but problems with 6, maybe upgrade and see if that helps.

cheers

matt
