Cant play cd or dvd on my 5270

Ok, heres the problem... I cant play cd audio or dvd video cd's on my sager.. the cds get all choppy and so do the dvd's i dont understand it.. its like the interfacing between the dvd drive and the rest of the computer is horrible..... I dont know if any one else has had this problem or not.. but also burning cd's and dvd's take forever. But the big problem is the cd audio and dvd playback it is really horrible.... I hope that someone could link me to a a firmware update for the drive or anything that speeds up the bus interface... Thanks a lot!

same problem, I RMA'd and they said they put a new one in I will test it soon

kool, i really hope it is fixed... umm one thing do you know if i rma mine can i keep my hard drive because i dont want to loose all of my stuff and i dont feel like backing up my entire 80 gb hd which is allmost full :-p thanks so much

Wow!, the bios update fixxed everything if anyone is having problems they should go to

and download the bios update... at your own risk of course....
