I reformatted and completely cleared the partitions out and reinstalled leaving 1308MB for MediaDirect....After reinstall and having everything just perfect again I went to install MediaDirect using MediaDirect Repair Utility and the computer would no longer boot had some error....call Dell they suggest I use my ghost backup to go back and then I have problems with my ghost dvd but thats a whole other story...anyways I reinstall windows again and get a good ghost backup of it...then I try MediaDirect Repair Utility again and it kills it again!!! Now I restore my backup and after doing a little more research there should be a download for MediaDirect to actually reinstall the software...Dell has it for the 9300 and XPS so I try installing it and tells me Cannot Install on System...Dell puts me on hold for 30 minutes and finally comes back to tell me that I didn't pay for MediaDirect, and I just had a trial version? seemed like full version to me! Ends up telling me it should be on Apps CD that they never sent so she is now sending that and Drivers CD.....There was no option to add MediaDirect anywhere I look and don't understand this. Has anyone else had trouble with MediaDirect? and Has anyone seen the option to put MediaDirect on your system? I thought this was simply a great feature to compete with HP and such but they're making us pay for it? ERRR They should have just sent all of the CD's from the start and it'd be much less painful for me! Anyways enough bitchin on my part.
