I have been brutalizing a 5680 for a couple years. The screen case is cracking at the hinges pretty bad and I do not think it will survive another field season. I purchased the computer through PCTorque.
How do I go about getting a new screen for this machine. I am not seeking a freebee - I am out of warranty - I just want to stretch the life of this machine out until the new msft OS is out and being built for.
What other upgrades could I have done to this machine? Video card? I see I could move up from 1gb to 2gb of RAM but I can do that at home. What else would be good to have done in the shop?
