Dell Dual Core XPS M170 Release Date

Does anyone know? I need a notebook badly, but it is going to take 3 weeks if I order an XPS now. I can't imagine it is going to be too much longer before they release the Dual Core XPS. Any info would be gold!!! Thanks in advance!!!

I don't think there has been any information released on when a dual core XPS is going to be released, but I’m actually beginning to wonder if such a release might coincide with the next Nvidia release; the next Nvidia release is scheduled for March I believe.

There are many people here who'd also pay gold to know :-)

I'm wondering about whether they are holding out for new graphiics capabilities, since the XPS is for gaming, which typically means as much graphics power as possible (yes yes, processor power, RAM etc are necessary as well).

Which makes me wonder whether they might not hold out for a DX10 compliant card ... from what I've heard, DX10 is out Q3 or Q4?

Personally, I'l LOVE to hear that a t2700 Core Duo (2.26 Ghz with VT enabled), with say a 7900 go gtx (or whatever their equivalent is) is coming out in the 1st half of this year... I just don't know if it will tho...
