how is the customer support for cdw? I don't want to spend like 2500 for a computer and get crappy service and support. So i want to be sure before I spend that kind of money.

CDW's a great company. I have a bit of an affinity for it, only because it's a local Chicago company (it's nice to be able to shop there in person ). I don't think you'd be disappointed.

I just got my tracking # for NewEgg - $2398.00 + 26.59 for 2nd day FedEx. (I also purchased my 8104 from them). Easy purchase + fast ship BUT make sure that your credit card company has your ship to address and the phone # in the record if you are not shipping to the billing address.

PS: I would also add to tell your credit card company to expect a call from NewEgg too!

A person on ebay has the buyitnow price at $1499.99 plus shipping. He says he has 50 of them from his father who passed away. I just ordered my for $2550 after tax and shipping from newegg.

I grabbed mine from newegg yesterday with $30 overnight shipping! Just installed the eeprom update and the wireless is fine now. The screen on mine is fine. Better than expected after all the complaints. It is one sharp looking laptop! Can't wait to play bf2.

Yes, once it's bought , no returns ! You have to click to accept this policy before checking out.

I finally got somebody at Zipzoomfly. They said it's on backorder until the 28th now. (keep in mind the whole time it said in stock). I pointed out it STILL says in stock at the website and they say "Yeah, that's an error. You're going to have to wait until the 28th."
