wtf? They are selling them almost 50% cheaper than it costs from at Dell

I understand people can get decent pricing from different areas, but where are they getting it from?

Hey guys, don't fall for those deals, look at the page again, it sayd 1.66 CORE SOLO. I customized one exact the same spec and my total came up to be 1,200 + tax and shipping. And through EPP is about 1,200. Whatever you do, do not buy, there are coupons out there that will get better deals. Wait and see. Core Solo is not as cool as core duo. At least get core duo

I beg to differ. I just bought mine last saturday through Ebay and picked it up the next day... brand new!

E1705 solo, 1gig 667, 80 gig, Nvidia 256, dual layer burner, the good screen. for 1345 out the door... and I'm very happy with it's performance.

BTW I was also able to get a high capacity battery for only $50 band new dell brand as well, in fact dell the guy had it dropped shipped directly from dell. If I would have bought that through dell it would have been $100+.

ahh, there is a guy with close to 3000+ feedback selling some nice solo core's for cheap.

I don't think I have a thing to worry about.

Not a bad deal. They must have gotten them for really cheap to still have some markup.

lol, those ebay's are funny

See the one that sayes 17 inch Wide Screen XGA+ Display
and bellow "Enhanced performance on the go - The Inspiron E1705 features a stunning 17-inch widescreen with TrueLifeTM display for an enhanced viewing experience."

Contradictory?
truth is that those prices are not really unrealistic with coupons and reseller discounts most of those guys can turn a profit of a couple hundred dollars.

Just look for the buyers rep

There is another REASON... Somebody, same as my person bought their Dell 9400 Deluxe version for cheap 700.- Euro by a Dell shop mistake in germany. And then they want to sell their NB by ebay and make some cash.

As far as im concerned, those are stolen goods that they're managing to sell so cheap.

But ofcourse, as with everything else, I could be horribly wrong.
