Hello, I just got my 16.1 inch notebook. I was wondering, what are the most current ways to get rid of the washout screen. My notebook can with alienadrenaline, so do any of your know the settings I need to get rid of the washout problem?

Well, for gamma control, I just set a picture in the background, then adjusted the gamma slider until I saw that it is fit.

Is this an ATI card, or Nvidia? If it's ATI pop on over to the peer to peer tech forum and there is sticky that will get you fixed right up. Also this is very well covered in tha actual Alienware forums as well.

Hello Maniac:

If you go to Alienware's Support Forum at http://support.alienware.com/ you will find your answer there. Alienware users and Alienware Tech Support are always posting tips on improving your experience with your Alienware Computer.

I would also recommend going to our Alienware Chat System (same address at http://support.alienware.com/) and Chat live with one of our Tech Suppor Chat Agent.
