ATI w/OMEGA drivers baby!

ick sure go ati if u want crappy driver support, ati forgets about products like an old person forgets to bathe. which is a lot since they smell so badly :O

I agree with Braingoo ... ATI with Omega drivers. I personally hesitated getting the ATI since I have always had Nvidia cards in my desktops and it felt more familiar, but the ATI in my A51m has treated me right and given me no problems.

ATI right now, no question. The 9600 outperforms the Nvidia mobile chips significantly. And actually, their driver support is much better since the original Radeons came out. I was breezing through Desert Combat this Christmas on a Radeon Mobility 9600 Pro, while my friends using their GeForce 4200 and FX5900 cards had disappearing terrain. They had to end up getting the absolute latest Nvidia drivers to fix it.

for those with the NV5600, the 9700, if a good card, or the 5700 is a big upgrade
