Give Opera Browser A Go On Your 9400/E1705 - Page 2

damn, yall need to chill on the browser wars... didn't that end with the death of Netscape way back in the day, ya know, when IE got packages into Windows OS?...

Ithink they all have there places, each for their respective geeks, but the truth is, you will never get the majority of "users" to DL and install something EXTRA when they have something that will do the job just fine for them already in windows.

Us geeks like all the toys, but eventually, IE will win the day, strength in MarketShare. Yeah I know Firefox is gaining, and i also know that opera has to revert to fanboy advertising to get any new DL's of it...

all i am saying is opera doesn't stand a chance vs. the likes of IE7 or Firefox.

either one of FF or IE can win... i dont care... but i still IE just because "it works" and i know how to protect myself and my families systems.

laters all.

It'll be a challenge for Opera or Firefox to topple IE. I use all three, although I prefer Opera. Each has its strengths, for sure.

As far as IE remaining #1, and people wont change to something other thanbundled with window, keep in mind, they said the same about cars in the horse and buggy days....

Hey, thanks, that plugin was JUST what i was waiting for
I prefer Firefox since version 1, but obviously, i do not look for plugins often enough.
Thanks for the Tip, which is, by the way, working perfectly well with IE 7 beta 2, too...

Oop and also it lacks the tons of FF Extensions. BUt purely browsing perspective, ie7 wins all. Def faster than opera which is supposedly the fastest browser evah
Ahhh. You are taken in by Microsoft.
The Internet Explorer is full integrated and loaded in the windows system. Now, every other browser will be slower loading and maybe also rendering.
On the other side you get with a browser in the operation system integrated a high risk factor, which you can see on any security websites around the internet full of security holes by IE 6/ soon 7.....
