i have an old vaio thin and light that i aquired from a friend. the thing is old, it can run win98 like so-so. my friend gave me the linksys internet pc card that she had. the computer recognizes the card, and even detects the our network and claims to connect, but i still get no internet access. i don't know win98 at all so im not sure where to begin to troubleshoot. where should i start looking to find the problem?
my friend gave me this laptop partly because she can't get the internet to work either, so i can't ask her.
