BF2 Crackling sounds

Hi does anyone encounter "Crackling pop" sounds when playing bf2?

Its not REALLY loud and distracting, but i can hear them... like little crackling sounds...

I get this sound to..really annoying, but its prolly fixable...but how?

i did a bit of searching.. appears to be not only e1705s with this problem...

but a bit off topic, BF2 is hard mang!!

I think all in all, FEAR has much better gfx tho....

FEAR + NFS most wanted.

i get this too...tried various changes in the sound panel to no avail

I wish someone would be a genius and figure it out

I have this problem in Counterstrike Source. Crackling and popping sound.
Re-installed Audio Driver but problem still exists.

However music/mp3's play fine through Media Player.
