Dark Screen

I'm sporting a 5620 with svga+ and my screen seems inordinately dim, as if the contrast was way down. At first, i thought that perhaps the screen itself was at fault, but later on i used the external VGA and the results were very similar, dark, dark screen, even with the monitor's levels pumped up, the output was dim. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of contrast options either on the unit or in the Radeon controls either...

Suggestions? Solutions?

Right click your desktop background and go to "properties". Click the "settings" tab and click the "advanced" button. Click the "color" tab and you will see the adjustment controls.
