Check in!

Pin mod, voltage, idle temps, loads temps, laptop

Even if you have stock voltage, post it anyway. Makes the table look cleaner when all information is present.

If at all possible, post some prices you had to spend.

I will edit this post in list form to compare.

Volt mod? Was it hard working with a TINY wire and pins?
post #4 of 82
1.6 --> 2.13 @ 1.26v
Idle @ 35deg, load @ 53 deg
Got the processor and another 80 gig drive out of my friends trashed sony lappy - freebee...

1.34v is not a volt mod.... that voltage is selectable in rightmark cpu utility...
post #6 of 82
Exactly, but it's the default voltage on a 735 pin-mod. However this is undervolted form what a 780 would usually run at.

1.8 --> 2.4
vid0 vid1
37 Idle, 55 Load
I9300
150 for CPU
post #9 of 82
1.8->2.4
1.452v
VID0, VID1, VID 2, BSEL 0
Idle at 27C, load at 76C (shush, it dies in prime at 1.436, which lowers the temp to 70-71C).

And yes working with tiny wires is a pain in the bloody arse.

1.7 ----> 2.26

No volt modding needed very fast easy and no issues

Idle and load temps? What's the current volt?
post #12 of 82

I swapped my my 2.0 PM 760 from my XPSM170 with my 1.8 PM 745 from my 700M.

The 700M runs @ 1.5 with the PM2.0 installed. Can't really tell the difference!

The 1.5->2 ghz ain't the quickest available but i had a 1.5 dothan sitting free so it was worth it as i only had a 1.6 533 fsb in it originally.

Hey skillz, great idea for a thread. I took a few minutes to put it into a neat organized little table, you can use this format if you want or just keep up with your list if you prefer that route.

I ordered a 1.7 on Friday, so I'll make sure to post my results when I'm done.

Hey cool thanks!

I was thinking of a better method for displaying the information, but I'm a noob to the whole BB tags and shit!

I ordered a 1.8 just now, should be here tomorrow!
