If you have successfully done a pin mod, check in - Page 2

post #21 of 82
I think I got a bad apple... but a little voltage boost fixed that problem

1.7 --> 2.26 @ 1.404v; Idle @ 35-38; load @ 48-52 I9300

without the volt mod it would fail prime95 in less than 12 mins

the temps vary so much cause my room temperature is always fluctuating

lol, originally I just typed everything out in notepad.

I pasted it into the forums and that kinda messed up the "neatness" in the forum code, but at least in the post it looks good.

Try copying and pasting into notepad and keeping it up to date in there, then just copy and paste back into the code tags when you're done, that should work better.

Well that's what I originally done, but they aren't smooth solid lines in Notepad, they are dotted lines and when I put it back in the forums, the dotted lines remain.

1.7ghz to 2.26ghz
Voltages are linear from .764 to 1.276
Spent around $150 on e-bay.

I do get crashes, but I suspect their from the GPU, and I'm too lazy to go in and pinmod it up a 50th of a volt to be sure it's the GPU.

What GPU do you have?

Oh, I had a typo.. 37C load, not 27C.

Hahaha, I didn't even notice that! Copy + Paste got me!

Wait, you mean idle?

1.7 -> 2.26, no volt mod

Run Folding@home 24/7, 62 C degree, RMClock undervolt to 1.324V. 1.308V seems OK, but if environment temp is high, FAH end premature sometimes.

Idle 38 C with high speed fan, RMClock undervolt to 0.700V. Idle temp varies when i use I9kfangui.

I9300. CPU cost is $165, bought from ebay, July 2005.

Have you undervolted your CPU, because stock voltage on a 780 is 1.404 volts, though the pin modded 735 runs at 1.340 volts. If you're running at 1.276 volts, and it's 8 hours prime stable, you've got one helluva chip.
post #35 of 82
1.8->2.4 stock voltages
Idle = 28
Load = 60
post #36 of 82
Where's the 2.0 -> 2.6 pin mods?
post #37 of 82
1.7 -> 2.26V, no volt mod

idle temp 40C (A05 BIOS, fan off at idle), load temp 67C (med-high fan speed)

cost - $0 (did a clandestine swap out with the CPU in my parent's 510M while they were staying with me one weekend )

Noody

Nice work on the table - great thread.
post #39 of 82
1.8 -> 2.4 @ 1.452v. Loads at 66 C and idles at 30C.
post #40 of 82
1.6->2.13
Runs @ 2.13ghz (max perf setting) on ac adapter. Idle around 30c and 57c at load. running @ 1.308volts.
