ASUS A8N-SLI
AMD64 3700+
2x 1GB PC3200
6800XT or 7800GT (Need to make up my mind really but im thinking the 7800GT... Though i get distracted if i have the details on high so no point in having a hawt gpu...)

I think you would get used to the details being on high... go for the 7800 IMO

I think its ok for the price, I mean you could keep getting cooler and cooler cases but thats the "best" looking one for that price. Infact, thats the cheapest one Ive seen with a window!

If youre going to be building the computer yourself, youre going to want a higher quality case imo, better airflow, and better looks .

Im building myself a rig right now actually and the case is this one. http://www.xoxide.com/thermaltake-so...ase-black.html

It has no lights (im a blue light whore) but you can always add those in.

BTW, the specs are

x2 4400+
2gb g.skill extreme pc4000
74 gig raptor
x1900xt (yeah i know im not good enough to deserve it )
dfi lanparty nforce4 ultra-d
535w enermax
x-fi extreme music

Yeah, Im basically going all out this time

everyone knows serious rigs can only use two brands of cases

go with a Coolermaster Stacker..

or Lian-Li whatever(they're all good)
