Thats a desktop hdd isn't it? There isn't a 200 gb hdd for laptops yet

Yeah, it is.. I get this from their description:

System Requirements: Windows: 98SE/Me/2000/XP, 3.5in drive bay. Mac: OS 8.6/OS X 10.1, 3.5in drive bay, Power Mac G4

We have a 2.5" Bay for laptops...

Chevyrulz,

I think this is what you need for your laptop:

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=100528-1

There's also a Seagate version for several dollars more. You'll still be getting a great price on those two 3.5's you just bought, but I hope you have a couple of lovely bays to place those HDDs in - or get a couple of drive bay enclosures and make some external storage.

I think he knows that. You can use a 3.5" in an external enclosure and with this price you can get 200gig of space for around 100 bucks.

definitely, if you want extra GB's, this is a nice deal. you can buy a cheap-o external case for the 3.5" HD to use with your lappie. nice to have the extra GB's to store all of chevyrulz099's porn.

unfortunately, that webdeal is now faklempt as it is out of stock now.

posted this in your other thread, but in case someone doesn't see it....

comp usa had an in-store only deal on a 200 gig maxtor for 30 bucks after rebates. It has a 5 year warranty too.

http://www.compusa.com/adproducts/pr...pfp=ADPRODUCTS

its probably a little late now if you diddn't see my other post, but if you can get to a comp usa before they close.....

I just picked one up today, I bought one about a year ago for 60, then another on black friday for 30, and this is my third one. The first one is in my computer, the second is now an external and this new one is going into a computer I have yet to build.

i picked up two today, 400gb for 80$ after 2 weeks of waiting for 80$ in rebates isnt bad.

i didnt order online, i walked into a staples, and saw about 30(200gb) boxes sitting on a table up front.

CLEARANCE (:

I thought this was a 2.5inch HD you were talking about.

At any rate its not such a good deal. Dell now offers 120GB HDs in their notebooks.

man, i think i'm going to get the seagate 200gb from compusa. hate those rebates though...three rebates just to get your money back. i hate that. better than the buy.com, outpost.com has 300gb 7200rpm for $80. http://shop3.outpost.com/product/4280824

i guess we could go back and forth posting these things...it's rather silly, though. definitely some good HD deals out there. pair it up with a HD enclosure, and good way to have backup storage for all of chevyrul099 porn

on the staples link it states $39.94 final price
but to the right of the price it says "before $40 mail in rebate"
