Another thing that drives me bonkers is that every single person you talk to on Alienware's customer support line tells you something completely different (and handles things completely different).
At the beginning of last week I was told that my order should start moving toward shipping late last week. Obviously it hasn't moved an inch.
I called back late last week and the lady didn't even check anything...and she said that my original March 2nd est ship wasn't upon us yet and that I should check back then.
I just called right now and the guy said for me to call again in 24 hours and he'd send out a request for more information on my order -- something I've never heard them talk about doing before -- and said that there was a bottleneck in their production line or something.
I'm not mad or anything.... but I am a little confused. There seems to be no structured or official way in which they handle requests for status or anything. My mind boggles at their production process too....
I'm pretty confused on this end -- I wonder what the CS reps think? They have to be confused without any apprarent protocol or guidelines to follow.
