I was wondering if anyone knows if there's an advantage of upgrading my 2GB CAS 3.0 Apacer memory to Corsair, more specifically this one:

2x "Corsair VS1GSDS400 1GB PC3200 DDR SoDIMM Memory"

A co-worker of mine needs two Gigs on his HP... and he offered to take my RAM. Now, I noticed that my ram is lowered to 166Mhz if more than one (1) GB is installed. The CAS rating at 166 is 2.5 and at 200 would be 3.

If I get a Corsair pair of 1GB SoDIMMs, will it:

1- Be 100% compatible ?? Some HP notebooks will not even boot with CAS 2.0 RAM. Will The Sager 4750 (Clevo D470K)?
2- Be able to run at a rated lower CAS ?
3- Be more stable ?
4- Run at full 200Mhz with 2GB installed ?

I would apreciate any feedback anyone may have. I have to give my counterpart an answer in a couple of days. If the corsair memory works then I'll give him my RAM and order new one for my 4750.

Best regards;
