whats a phase?

i just got into notebooks so i really dont know all the lingo yet... i just learned what a mobo was couple days ago... im slowly learning all of this...

A phase is what step your computer is in while being built at the factory.
example:
phase 1 - order
phase 2 - process order
phase 3 - build computer
ect.ect.

A "phase" is another word for "puberty", everyone on these forums uses it because it just sounds a lot less threatning.
