Notebook coolers

Hey, so I finally got my Dell Precision M20 somewhat game-capable (used the DH Modtool to install desktop ATI Catalyst drivers on it). Now I'm happy, except for the fact that it gets pretty toasty when gaming, particularly at the back. So, I'm wondering if notebook coolers are effective, and if so which ones are good and which are not so much.

Any experience people have would be welcome - most notebook coolers seem to draw from USB power, which seems like it might in and of itself generate more heat, but I guess it cools more than it burns.

Thanks for your time.

I bought the Lapcool 4 for mine. It draws air from under it and blows up into the fan intakes on mine. I do see a few c more if I turn the cooler off, so it does help. I bought that model as it was what most people where recommending for this model. Does your laptop have fans under it to draw air up into the case? If not, I'm not sure how much of a benefit it would be. Just do a search here for lapcool 2 and 4.
