02-27-06 I believe. I thought about the warranty long and hard then said man I sure would like to bump that proc speed one more step higher then the 2.0 ghz so i opted for the speed instead. I guess i was thinking about those nights in front of the new lappy playing COD2 or CS Source.....(Wishful thinking at this point).

thats a very nice lappy but when you get the money bump the up the warranty at least a year. ( you buy more warranty when you are under it)

if your using the alienware card they won't except it if you want to ugrade the warranty. so you'll need another credit card. I assumed aw would always accept an aw card but i was wrong.they wouldn't let me put my cd rom they got to send me on it either. I couldn't believe that. Just some advise. I wish i would have known that befroe hand.

I can upgrade the warranty I think. Well I'm paying with cash so can I?

Yep - you should be able to upgrade the warranty if you are paying cash or by credit card.

i tried to pay them cash too and they said they only took credit cards. I'm not sure what they do in other countrys but in the U.S. that's the way she be. so when your warranty is done because they don't accept alienware cards or cash and it breaks they won't fix it on an aw card or cash.at least that's what andre said in tech support. if my motherboard blew after warranty they block any chances of me buying one unless it's through them and you pay them to put it in and be without your lappy for a month. I like my lappy but i don't like the buisness practices of the company that put it together.your debit card will probably work.
