7800gtx and swat4

Hi!

Just wondering, has anyone tried swat4 with the 7800gtx? I know the card has more than enough muscle power to run the game but it is very choppy for me even under medium settings and single player. I tried low settings as well but during intense actions or just moving from left to right, the image would lag. I'm using XTreme-G MobileForce 83.60-v2.25

I didn't have any problems with the game when I had the 6800 card, and this game (swat4) seems to be the only one that is having problems. Battlefield 2 and everything else runs perfectly.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I play swat4 on the highest setting @ 1600x1200 @ 75hz on my external 21" CRT with sony g520 tube and have had no performance issues.

I have P-M 2.0ghz / 2gb ram / 60GB 7200 / 7800gtx go.

i play on my 6800non-u and have no issues what-so-ever. 1600x1200.

did you use drievr cleaner and whatnot when you installed your drivers? I suppose its possible that some left over file from somewhere could be "cramping your stylezz" so to speak, even if it doesn't effect other games.. I'd do a clean install of drivers and work from there.. maybe try reinstaling the game also.. you never know, but.. worst case scenario, you're out 5 minutes of your time..
