You need to install the chipset drivers from support.dell.com. Your porblems should be handled with that installation. Have fun!!

Just to bring this up again - any chance to get my card reader working if installing newest or on cd supplied chipset driver does not enable the Ricoh card reader??? What else may I be missing? Inpirom 630m with Windows XP SP2 (I did a reformat)

I got something similar with my dell wireless. I disabled some servies, and it turned out to be one of the COM+ services that it needed to load. It's probably one of those services that you wouldn't expect to affect anything.

I tried to load the OS on the computer just like I did my last one with an audio recording tweak guide. I'm kind of struggling right now to get everything to work right as each computer is different in the way it likes to be setup, and the way you can manipulate it.

oh its the ricoh chipset driver one has to install, has nothing to do with the intel chipset driver - then it works. Just stupid that one is missing on my drivers and utilities cd.

i really dont like that it installs all the differnet card types separately in the Add/Remove programs section too.. just a bit annoying.
