I had ordered a MacBook Pro, the day after it was announced. Yesterday, when I had expected it to ship, Apple botched my order and my ship date was bounced to the very back of the line (3/21.) I was so mad. Customer service basically told me to get bent. I canceled the order.

I've had a lot of Dell laptops and have generally been happy with them. So I started shopping, finally deciding on the E1705. Looking for reviews I stumbled upon this forum. I was pretty happy with the deal through the EPP, but then I saw the recommendation to look for additional coupons on Ebay.

For $2, you guys saved me an extra $300. Apple messing up my order saved me almost $1000.

My 2ghz dual core, WUXGA has a 3/1 ship date.

Congrats man, welcome to the forums. I ordered an E1705 with the 30% off coupon just last night as well.

Good deal mang. For 1000 cheaper, u get a pc that is a bit thicker and heavier, but BIGGER BEAUTIFUL SCREEN, and equal if not better perfomrance.

I bought the E1705 with the $650.00 off coupon. Then I called back and cancled that order.




































I then Called and Ordered it again with the %30 off and 12% off EPP. I got the same thing for the same price with a 3y warrenty!!
