I was hit with a sasser virus last week and though I was able to delete the file, after scanning in safe mode, im not sure if im still infected. The toshiba tech guy said that even if it was a virus, it wouldnt be happening so occasionally, and much more often. I find what gives it away that its overheating, is the fact that the fans were going off like mad prior to shutting down. And this happened all 3 times, being on at around 12hrs. I think that gives it away right there.
Everytime this happened I was just using it on my desk like usual and using windows. Web, email, mp3, nothing intensive like a DVD or game. Nothing blocking, and its in my basement.
But either way, im most likely not going to risk this by keeping it and have it happen again, so im going to change it in about half hour here to get another model. Im thinking the duo core P100, but its $500 more
