Flickering: test your notebook

On the Amilo M3438, there is a minor but strange screen bug which makes a multitude of horizontal lines flicker. I'm just curious whether Fujitsu screens (that's without Siemens involved, meaning Fujitsu notebooks outside of Europe) have the same.

So with Borkar's permission, I'm going to post the test image he made to find out. Look at the left part and see if it flickers (the right part with the vertical lines is just to compare, it should be stable). Again, this test is meant for users of Fujitsu-proper in America or elsewhere.

Well I'm on an Asus Z71v and it flickers for me. Don't know if that helps :P

Sure. Always better to share the misery.

Are there any HP users seeing the bug? 'Cause I can't stand HP.

That probably means your screen is fine. If it's not, then the lines in the image (you do see the image right?) will appear to be going on and off rapidly, like a faulty christmas decoration (probably an overstatement but still, it's quite noticeable).

No HP or Dell. Double letdown... I mean good for you.
