i have been looking at that one for a long time.i have been loking at the sager 5720 (i jusy hope if i order one that it doesn have that "hissing in the headphones' problem),dell xps 170 and thats really it,are there any other good dtr's in my price range?
also i would put it down to 1.86 ghz so i could get a 2 year warranty (becuase you can buy warranty after your purchase) and get the dead pixel policy and 1 year accidental warranty, then i would bump it down to 1 gb of ram and buy the other one from newegg.(sorry for going on so long)

are there ny other good dtr's around 2,500 give or take OTHER then the dell xps 170,sager 5720 and hypersonic cx7 ( really like the cx7)
Does the cx7 have the same sound issues as the 5720 does?

What would you guys prefer sager or hypersonic? I wanted to buy sager, but than I read all about the sound problems and I just don't know anymore..

I'm in the same trouble as boomheadshot45..
sager 5720 = hyper cx7, same issue i believe.

The acer 8204 looks like the best 15,4" available.. portable and very fast:

Also the ABS G5 Vanguard might be worth to take a look at:

That ABS is the same as the 5720. So it'll have the sound issue you're worried about.
yep.

ABS G5v = 5720 = cx7

all same stuff!

Actually my 5720 has no sound issues. I have to have the volume down almost all the way when using headphones because it is so loud, but there is no hiss.
