I whant to see if the Acer Travelmate has the same widescreen look aperance as The Ferrari has?!

You could have posted something like:

"I want an obviously very rich person that owns both the Ferrari and the 8204 to take a picture of both side-by-side. I will not pay you anything or provide any form of compensation since you are already rich and therefore don't deserve anything."

Which is why your post has 300 views and no replies.

Widescreen

Since they're both 15.4" screens,my guess would be "yes".
Probably never find any pictures of either one anywhere on the net,so you'll probably just have to buy them both,then send them both back if I'm wrong.

take a pic of each... use Photoshop (or even MS Paint), combine the pics to put them side by side...

and there you go

I said that you dont need to be rich to take a pic of those lappys together, just go to a store that sells both models and take a picture.

Actually,I've seen both,and I gotta say that the Travelmate does have that "Ferrari Widescreen Look",except it is the Travelmate version of the "Ferrari Widescreen Look".
One could almost call it that "Travelmate Widescreen Look",I suppose.
But if you did that,then it sounds like it looks more like a Travelmate than a Ferrari , which kind of ruins the "Ferrari Widescreen Look"thing.
To make a long story short,and also to save some money,I think you should just buy the Travelmate,and tell everyone that it looks just like a Ferrari.
Since there are no pictures of them side by side anywhere on the net,they'll just have to take your word for it.

I'd show you, but my problems with the place I tried to buy my 8204 from (Zipzoomfly) just never end. Still can't get over how badly they have messed the order up. Order placed the 16th, wait a week while it only says "Processed", call in and they say there was a problem so I need to place a new order. Let me guess, price went up? Yep. Ok, I place another order and get assured it will ship out that night. Wait 3 days, call in again, "We don't have any of those." Umm, your website said in stock, STILL says in stock, never has stopped saying in stock. "Yeah, that's a mistake, we don't have any. You'll need to wait another week." Week comes and goes, I call again "That was an estimate - we still don't have any." I look - website still says IN STOCK and their price just keeps going up. Just unbelievable to me and it's stopped me from getting my 8204 for half a month now.

Ualdayan, you could order it from buy.com, they got good prices, and they ship it within 1 or 2 days, and the shippig is free if u get 3-5 day delivery thingy

Buy.com unfortunately is about $350 higher than Zipzoomfly after taxes.

I tried ordering from costcentral.com. Turns out their resellerratings.com were true though. The sales guy I talked to before ordering said "No, don't worry, you *probably* won't have to do all that if your address matchs." Few hours later - "Hello, we need you to scan your credit card back and front, state license front and back, and sign this document certifying you agree to our terms of no returns even for DOA. (return to acer for all problems.)" There doesn't seem to be any sites that don't charge TN tax and don't make you jump through hoops or lie to you about stock.

Buy.com sucks ass.

Order from Newegg.com. Newegg and Buy.com are pretty even on the 8200 right now. It may be a bit more spendy than those other places like Zipzoomfly, but at-least you know you'll get the product without any acrobatics through rings of fire.

The difference is sooo obvious...

Yes,even with the 8204 enjoying the "spotlight",the Ferrari appears to definitely be the better looking of the two.
Placing them side by side really accentuates the vast differences in each one.
Yep,that picture is going to sell more Ferraris than you can shake a stick at.
