Hello,
Just a heads up:
SiS & PCI-Express:
Taipei, January 15, 2003- Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS), a leading supplier of core logic chipsets, today announced the release of it’s newest high performance Southbridge for the PC market. The 965L supports the new PCI-Express standard for high-speed, next generation peripheral connectivity, and is totally compatible with current-generation SiS chipsets.
I've emailed Alienware to see if their upcoming Athlon 64 notebook can support this chipset as I believe it is pin compatible, as they stated it is backward compatible with existing SIS chipsets.
