Don't worry, mine came a day ahead of schedule and just be home EARLY or you might miss it, and thx LeilaniLad.. not sure if I want to download the software to see the benchmarks (only because i'm SOO paranoid about viruses.. i've had some bad eh disasters with my old computer.)

i have a question about Laptop coolers. How can they work with an Aurora when they just blow air at the laptop, or do they suck hot air from the bottom of the laptop?

I find that putting my Aurora on a Laptop stand allows the laptop to run 200% cooler, because by the stan holding the laptop 4 or more inches off of my desk allows cooler air to circulate faster underneath the laptop. (sorry about the run on sentence)

So you're saing that maybe notebook feet is all you need, that the fans on the Lapcool are overkill?

they are blowing cool air at the laptop and mine runs cool i never have heard my fans on high except when pressing the fn+f2 keys....i love my lapcool 4 and why would you suck air out of fans that are pulling in creating negative pressure reulting in more heat b/c less air is passing over the components so the heat cannot escape as easily....if you force cooler air into the system it will oump coler air faster through your system resulting in your fans not working as hard....hence the term "coolers" thank you thank you all very much

If you have, or are getting one of these machines, make sure that the laptop cooler pushes air up into the intakes. You don't want one that is sucking air down away from the intake fans, don't want to think of the end result of that.

all the air intakes on my aurora blow out air, along with all the vents. So how can i use Lapcool4 to blow air into my laptop, when all the fans in my laptop are blowing air out?

The bottom intakes suck in and blow out through the vents.

Website finally caught up with reality. It says I'm at Phase 5 now, which according to the AW reps I've been at for a couple days =). I'm guessing I'll still be in the Phase game according to the site while I'me viewing it on my new lappy.

OMG lolz

Just look at it as AW trying to make just the very best Laptop for you without any flaws.

I got to say, since i got my Aurora....i have not used my desktop since.

and i also went to Bestbuy and got a backpack for my Aurora named Targus. This bag is sweet, it has 8 compartments. It holds a 17" notebook in the first one and a 15" notebook in the second one. Then it has 6 other compartments for your books, powerbricks for both laptops and cables. I had my Aurora and my girldfriend's 15" laptop, all our powerbricks and cables...even our books, and still it felt like the bag was 5 pounds. I guess its how its built. Check it out (Targus) only $90 at Bestbuy. It even has 2 compartments for your mouse and headphone.
