Cool, but no video options on that one.

I like this one better though =)

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...=E1505S1&s=dhs
Core Solo

And this one

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...=E1505S1&s=dhs
Core Duo Package 1

Both of these took about 2 mins of waiting for them to cache. So I'm guessing that they aren't populated to all of the web servers yet. Click on the links and if it doesn't show right away, give it time.

Currently there isn't a dedicated video option to choose, or 667 ram. Other than that... all the options are available. I would guess that Dell doesn't have enough x1400 cards ready to start offering them yet.

gonna be a month or so before things start to become avail (gfx, and 667) for the e1505.

didnt think they were even coming out till mid march, dell is a little early, probably trying to boost sales.
Actually all of those 6400/E1505 links are from Googling. Some of the Option titles are wrong, so I think they're actually testing the pages before they go live.
that is possible

why they have the similar GFX i wonder "IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator 950"

same as in e1705
Media Accelerator 950 was designed to replace the 900 chipset once Dual Cores were introduced. It has no bearing on the form factor of the internal GPU's. Don't start going all crazy trying to stuff a Go 7800 in that lil E1505 just yet. =)

i don't want it to have gf 7800go anyways, it does belong to 9x00 series

but a ati x1600 or x1400 would be nice
lame, they need dedicated graphics.

Hurry up dell!
they will more than likely to include the x1400, but i'm hoping an x1600!!!!

its getting a x1300.
well that's even worse
Actually it is getting an ATI x1400 256meg Graphics Card. Not x1300, not x1600. And it "might" be hypermemory since the initial price scale calls for only a 50$ upgrade from the Intel GMA950 to the ATI x1400 256meg.

320-4655 256MB ATI MOB RADEON X1400,I6400/E1505 V $50.00
post #14 of 25
What search on google brought this up??
mostly agreed

inspiron 6400 will definetly have dedicated graphics, that's unclear which one but surely it will be one of these three ATI x1400 x1600 or x3001
post #16 of 25

Sweet! I need to sell my I6000D asap so I can get one of these when it drops. I should have just waited from the beginning, but I really needed a laptop in the meantime. Woohoo, core Duo here I come!!!

Did anyone notice that the WSXGA and the WUXGA are saying that they come with Truelife now? Does that mean they're finally doing the glossy screen on them? That would make me even more happy if they did that. That's one thing I really wish they did with the I6000D was put the glossy screen on the WSXGA and WUXGA screens.

That is what it says. Truelife is Dell's name for the glossy coating, and it appears that they are now offering it on their WSXGA and WUXGA.
