I have a pretty tight budget, but I want to get the best computer for my money. I have been looking at the Compaq Presario R3000T and the HP Pavilion ZV5000 series. They are almost identical. Anyways, right now I have it configured with a Pentium 4 2.4 GHz processor. I can cut $100 off the price if I switch to the Celeron 2.8 GHz. I know the Pentium 4 is better, but will it make that much of a difference? I will be using the computer to type papers, watch dvds, surf the internet, store and edit digital pics and video. So, how important is the Pentium 4? Any thoughts? Thanks!!
