128MB x300 ?

Is the 128MB x300 in the 9300 the same as the one used in the 6000? I know the heatsinks are different, but what about the cards themselves? Could I take my friend's 128MB x300 from is 9300, swap heatsinks with the one on my 64MB x300 card and install the one from the 9300 in my 6000?

Won't work since the I6000 & I9300 use diff form factor GPU's.
Closest GPU that may be able to replace the X300 in your I6000 could be the X1300/X1400 from a I6400...

somms is right on.

youll have to wait though for a bios upgrade.

the 6400 bios's might not even be able to flash a 6000 to use the x1300.

6000 best vc for rest of its life is a x300. no doubt about it.
