Hypersonic CX6 Review

My CX6 arrived yesterday! Haven't had a lot of time on it yet but so far I love it. It is almost as fast as my Sager 5720 but it is a lot lighter and easier to pack around. My wife loaded Sims2 Nightlife on it and played it a few hours. It runs faster than her Dell XPS notebook. Hopefully she will let me use my new notebook again. It was well packed and comes with a nice case. I have a new Swiss Army backpack case I will be using for it however because it will work out better getting around the airport when I travel. It also has a small case that holds the software and documents, a very nice touch. The CX6 is very well made and has a nice feel to the keyboard. Not to soft or to firm. The sound system is awesome. The screen is well lite and has an anti-glare finish. The images are very sharp on the screen and I can't see how anyone could ask for more. I ordered it on Feb. 2nd and it was first scheduled to ship on Feb. 16th. I actually shipped on Feb. 21st. A little slow but not big problem. Hypersonic's staff was very friendly and helpful with both the ordering process and updating me on my order status when I called. They e-mail me when the order shipped and included the tracking number. I wish their site gave a little more information about what is going on with the order between order acceptance and shipping. I wish they offered custom paint for the CX6. Below are the specs and benchmarks .

great review. i dont remember any recent review of hyper laptops besides EX7's, GX7's FX7's and CX7's. ive been looking at a thinner laptop for more portablility, and this could be the answer.

Congrats on the system and great specs.

FOr those who are unaware, the major differences between the CX6 and the CX7 is that the 7 is a 17" model and has the Nvidia card, as opposed to the CX6 with the 15" screen and the ATI. That said, they are definitely more compact and lighter than the CX7.

It was soemthing I had looked at previously, but I went the route of the CX7 for the screen. That said - you have a very nice system there and looking forward to hearing more about your experiences!

Congrats again!
