Does this Laptop exist, or will it?

Basically i'm looking for the Equivalent of the Acer TM 8200, or close, but with Nvidia Graphics. The reason is: It'll make my life alot easier, since I'll be Using gnu/linux.

It Doesn't have to be Out right now, since I will not be purchassing it untill in 3 month or so. But I am starting to do some research on it right now.

I am Basically Looking for:
Dual Core Laptop CPU: Such as Intel Core Duo, or AMD Equivelent (if it comes out soon.. )
Wide Screen Display, 15inch. Hopefully Highter resolution, but can live without.
Geforce 6600go , or better yet 7600go.
Some decent Battery life.

dell 9400.

or as they call it. E1705. but its 17 inch.


also they are coming out soon with the inspiron 6000 replacements.

e1505. itll be duo core but no word yet on whether or not itll have nvidia graphics. as of now it has integrated, but im sure theyll add some form of pci-e card.

if you do choose dell ill save ya a headache.
the fans are controlled thru i8k and gkrellm under linux

Wow.. that dell looks surprisingly nice.
Any info on it's battery life?

i own a 9300, so i cant comment on its battery life.

but theres a dell core duo forum if you scroll down a couple of pages.

You won't see any new Duo Core's with the now outdated 6600 (even though it is still a nice card.) All the new Duo Core's will have either ATI 1x00 or nVidia 7x00 cards.

Acer has one that fits your specs, but I don't think they have it shipping, at least not in the U.S. Gateway has a few 15.4 inchers too.
