Area-51:sentia Review - Booga - Cyborg Green - Page 2

I noticed that also. I agree with Booga, It is not a problem at all. Actually if you have external speakers you really can't hear it at all. (Maybe mine are just very good)

I've been also playing plain n64 and some Xbox emulated games I find everywhere around. It can run FPS like a champ! And also, when I'm programming my games with dark Basic, they play in probably the best quality I'm see on a lot of computers.

Sup Booga, How’s your Lappy holding out so far? Any problems? I had a problem with one of my USB ports an hour ago and freaked out. It wasn’t reading for anything. I rebooted the computer and then read through some hardware configuration settings and found out the problem. Yet sometimes It still happens. Ohwell, I can’t complain really! I’ve gotten a lot of looks from people when they see me on my Sentia. I get crowds sometimes here in Japan, sometimes I pray that I don’t get mugged for it, but whatever. This sh!t is sexy.

To answer your question... no you can not replace the gpu in the Sentia.

I personaly think the stealth black case would look cool. Ask Archalien, I believe he owns one of them, he could give you a first hand experience response.

Heads up!
slacker.NET is back up from 4 weeks of no broadband connection during the move to a new place. The order for DSL was made on July 12.

The bad news
Telco reported back that I am 23k feet from the nearest CO. This puts me over 8k feet from the requirement of 15k or less distance.

Good news
My ISP ordered for an RT installed to allow my DSL order to go through. The RT was installed about 3k feet from my premises. After 3k feet it is fiber all the way to the CO which means shorter distance allowing for faster available speed packages. But for now, I signed up for the basic DSL package.

the other bad news
RT install is a special order from the ISP which is why it took so long for this order to go through.

My 1st gen Sentia review and pictures should be back online. The green alien still kicks arse, and the battery life is still good at over 3 hrs.
