Is there really any difference between the two of these programs I have both but have not been able to see any real avantage to NHC. Am I missing something maybe?
NHC is use for undervolting, temps readings, overclocking graphics etc.
Totally different from Toshiba PM. It can be used in conjunction with Toshiba PM. The only reason I use NHC is mainly for undervolting and temperature readings. Undervolting is a great way to lower the noise of the laptop but also use less energy meaning longer battery life (although nominal) and lower temperatures.
I have been usin NHC over power management simply because I have noticed that the fans don't come on as often. As above was said, the temperature readings are pretty handy indeed.
