1. "stuck pixel fixer" -> program that rapidly flashes colors on screen to sometimes "unstick" stuck pixels
2. gently massage the pixel, sometimes this helps, usually it doesn't, sometimes it hurts (YMMV)
3. seek help from Dell -> "my panel sucks for xxx reason"
Dead - No response or visible color. Shows as black on all color palettes.
Stuck - Displays as anything other than black during different color palettes.
Stuck - Rubbing out is dangerous but does work. Rubbing out a dead pixel is done from BEHIND the display where the substrate lies, which can end up damaging other pixels or leaving oil that can heat up inside later. Not recommended. I was able to unstick 2 pixels when I got my laptop and now the screen has no pixel issues. I would suggest trying the program mentioned above and hope that works. Only try rubbing it out from the outside unless you are extremely confident.
