Greetings to Everyone:

First all of I would like to introduce myself. My name is Juan and I am an Administrator for the Alienware Support Forums at http://support.alienware.com/

This support site is an excellent tool for current and soon to be Alienware owners. I will periodically pass by and read the posts to see how everything is doing.

If you guys have any questions or concerns, please post so we can address them. Remember if you are an Alienware owner; please do also join us at the Alienware Support Forums. By this mean, your questions, concerns, and comments will been seen by our Alienware Agents and will be addressed quickly. If you are having problems trying to get into the Support Forums, contact me and I will see what I can do.

We also have started a great new service for our Customers. AlienChat is a web-enabled chat interface where you can chat with one of our Chat Tech guys on a one to one basis in real time.

So just remember, we are here to help out to make you Alienware experience a great one.

Greetings, Juan. I just wanted to make a suggestion about the alienware site. Alot of people on here have wonder about the screen sizes of the Area-51m. I think it would be helpful for us if there was some kind of picture on the order screen that would show what the chosen size would look like. Kind of like how it does when you go through all of the colors. I think it might help you guys out a bit on your end as well. I'm sure you get a few orders that get into the later phases and end up having to go back because that person has decided to get the 16" screen rather the 15.4" or vice versa.

hello juan. if you are even half as nice as the european tech support guys you are already my idol=)
anyway, since you are the administrator of the forum, maybe you can tell me why alienware wont even let us european customers look at the forum.
i know that the EU and US versions of alienware are probably very different companies and such, but wouldn´t it be all fair, cause right now the only way i can get any tech support is by calling the tech support, which for me is quite hard as i speak very bad english. but as i stated above, the tech support guys are really wonderful, so i´m quite happy non the less. just would be a lot easier to just search the aw-forum everytime i encounter something strange.

(all that being said, i must express my extreme thankfullness for this forum, really dont know what i would have done without this)

I'd really appreciate it if European customers could be given access to the very helpful US AW support forums. Please do sth. about that issue.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello once more:

On the issue of our EU customers trying to access the US support forums, what is the procedure you are following to create an account and what errors are you getting?

Thank you.

Hello DS613:

I looked into your issue and spoke to some Alienware agents. They looked into your problem and they expedited your order. It should go quicker now.

I can't promise anything, but it should ship out in a couple of days.

Once you get your computer, you will definantly know the wait was well worth it.

I also looked into the Alienware Support Forum issue you were asking about. You will have to wait until your Alienware computer is sent to you to be able to access the Forums.

Hoping you are having a good week,

I'm trying to register as a new user on alienware.com with my European/German account number and my registered E-Mail address. The error message I get is "Invalid account number".

I assume that is because my account number isn't registered in AW's US customer database...
