You'll be fine, the video card is for 3D stuff. Photoshop is on the CPU and not the video card. Same for movies.

I called Sales to see if there was any way to add it now without holding up the order and they said it was a ways off still. So no luck for me.

I do want to thank everyone here, your information was very helpful in my search for my 1st personal laptop purchase.

Cheers
Glad you found things here useful for you. As for upgrading later... with the 15.4" platform you will likely not be able to upgrade, as there will be a different board. When you get your I6400, open it up and take a pic of the motherboard, we'll let you know if the video card slot and mounting location are there for a real video card upgrade later.

Chris, thanks, I'll take a peek inside and shoot some pics. March 20th - 22nd delivery date, then on the road for a week. Maybe it will get here before then so I can sneek peek. Don't even want the wife to know about opening up the case though, she would kill me.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Mar 22nd? That's an optimistic delivery date. Dell was expecting the first batches to be ready for shipping in the last week of March.

Ouch , so the status page must be wrong. If they are going to take that long, then I should have waited. We'll see how it goes.
